Probably Dragon Age 2... although I'm not really interested in it. Best RPG this year is not going to be for a while, all I hope for is Bethesda delivers a polished game (Skyrim - this is totally my opinion of course, others may disagree).
i'm personally interested in Two Worlds 2. reviews of the European release have been encouraging and footages show that the game is in great shape on PS3. i'll probably get DA2 when the ultimate edition is released.... which should be a year or 2 away. :lol:
Hunted: The Demons Forge looks like my most anticipated RPG. I loved the first Dragon Age but I'm not to sure I like where they are going with the second one.
Neptunia.. Its going to be both hilarious and awesome.. Its coming out Feb 15th i think.. Two Worlds 2 has already had some mediocre reviews so idk, I really hope its good though, i need a new action RPG to hold me off till Skyrim this fall.
totally recommend two worlds 2, it has a very nice crafting system for both equipment and spells. And also featuring many multiplayer options (the castle thing should be nice although haven't tried it yet since I'm too involved in the 1player thing now). Mass Effect 3 should be sweet too. And speaking of 3's, if they manage to get diablo out and also on consoles (rumors are going around)..
I am most interested in Two Worlds 2 because it is an unknown entity. We can expect greatness from Skyrim, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age, but TW is attempting to come back from a game that was not well received by players or critics and by all accounts thus far it has made strides in terms of quality. I am also very interested in Catherine, should be one heck of a trip.
But what will be the best? Skyrim for me, no doubt, because I love Bethesda.
Dragon Age 2 may get the RPG OTY award due to the refinements they'll most likely make, and a deeper, darker story. I'm hoping Dues Ex's story and gameplay will run away with the award.
