Next Firmware Update?

I was just curious if anyone knew of anything about the next firmware update? If so, do you know any details?

I have also read a bunch of things on 2.0 and what its suppose to bring to the console and I know those are not confirmed yet. But I'm really hoping there are true, I would really love XMB music playback durring gameplay. Imagine Warhawk with some As I Lay Dying Or August Burns Red cranked?!

Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone knew of anything and any new features and its release. I'm kinda itching for a change and something new! Until then, back to Warhawk.

Actually, v2.0 was confirmed as coming out on the 30th.ocelotcougar

Link? There was alot of confusion about the actual FW and the revision they made to their ToS which is now at ver2.0 and takes effect on the 30th.

Aparantly the next update will be available on R&CF:ToD, 1.94. No idea what it does though. There is still no confirmation on 2.0.

Why would Sony release a service and user agreement and state it that it will be effective on Oct. 30? Then name a lot of weird features that the PS3 doesn't do, yet. (Like upload content, like pictures and such?)

Are you forgetting that Sony is planning an open beta for Home in late November or early December?? Because I really think you are.

What does in-game XMB have to do with uploading content? Nothing.
