I've never bought a system at launch (well, never bought many systems, period - used to PC Game). How long until they start making Ps3/360 games and start scrapping the PS2/XBox? I'm tired of all these ports?
alot of the games now are only for the PS3 and 360. of course some of the big sports franchises like Madden, Tiger, NHL are still going to be on the xbox and PS2, but for the most part, most games are coming to the PS3 and 360 exclusively.

I wouldn't say "a lot." And it doesn't help I personally don't care for Motorstorm, Fight Night, etc... Seems every game I like is a port - MUA, Madden, Oblivion, FEAR (I assume I'll like it)...

Now do you mean exclusive to this generation of game consoles or exclusive to one game console? cause Oblivion and FEAR are exclusive to this generation(they don't show up on the xbox or PS2), but neither are exclusives to one console.
In my mind, games that can run on PC's and don't require state of the art PC's aren't Next Gen. IE a game that can run on my PC (and mine can run FEAR).

with the 360 and the PC being close in programming architecture, you won't find many games for the 360 that won't show up on the PC. that's just something you are going to have to deal with.
Thats why you don't buy the 360 because 90% of all the games on 360 will be on PC. 360 is just a cheaper PC. As for PS3 I'm also kinda dissapointed that few PS3 games have come out. So far Resistance, VF5, Virtua Tennis, Armored Core, Genji, F1 Racing, are the only built for console games everything else is a port.

Totally agreed. Even Halo is on PC. but the PS3 have only 5 months and really have good games like RFOM, MotorStorm, VF5, F1, and others. but don't forget the ones that are coming like Liar and heavenly sword
