Next gen of psp rumored?

I was reading an article at msn and they might have confirmed a new psp coming out in the year 2010.

Dammit, and I just got a PSPgo

eh i highly doubt it. they just released the PSP go. give it a year or 2....... IF they even keep the PSP brand past that.

It could be a typo but then again wouldnt Sony have heard about this already and said it wasnt real.

I hope not since I just picked up a 3000 today. :P

They need to pick the pieces up from the GO! by getting a new one (4000) of the shelves to replace it

When the Go was first announced Sony made it clear that there could very well be some further PSP models with UMDs and given that the Go flopped big time I would think they'll be keen to get a "4000" out ASAP!

If this rumor is true- it'll be the PSP-4000. This wouldn't be surprising, since from what I've heard- the PSP Go's sales have apparently been disappointing in several areas (particularly Japan).

We probably won't be seeing a PSP2 until 2012- at the earliest I think.
