I'm getting a new racing game for PSP and have narrowed it down to these two. Which is better? I have burnout legends already so I don't want dominator. I'm also very interested in the online for both. Test Drive's sounds much better but if the actual racing sucks then I don't care. Thoughts? Thanks.
I have Carbon and it is pretty good. I played my friends version of Test Drive and the racing isn't as good. I;m not sure about the online features of Test Drive though.

well if the core gameplay of racing isn't good then it really doesn't matter to me how good the online is. Sounds like carbon is better.
NFS:Carbon is a very good game. I'm not sure about Test Drive though. If you want another good racing game get Midnight Club 3 (very underrated).payforaday

MC3 became a greatest hit so it has revised loading times.

MC3 doesnt have online but yes, people still do play NFS:Carbon online.
Two different games... Carbon is basically Street racing with simple mods and making your car look a bit better. But it's nothing compared to the versions on the other consoles. Carbon on the psp has a different story, a couple or more racing modes, but doesn't perform as well as those on console versions.
I've played TDU on the PS2... not as good as the next-gen version... But still quite good! Lots and lots of open spaces to drive around in (unlike Carbon's city - which doesn't feel like a city even). TDU is kinda like a middle ground between street racing games (like nfs) and realistic sims (like Gran Turismo).
well ive only played nfs-carbon and id reconmend it but not played tdu for psp i played it on xbox360 and its amazing but it says its got all the stuff from the xbox360 version and i thought tht wudnt of worked and wud be buggy and all tht but it rele depends if your into more street racing or more gran turisomo(dunno how to spell it lol)
Nfs carbon is a good game. It gets a bit boring when u finish tha story(they should've added challenge series).The online is not bad(Im not sure if European gamers can play against american ones),when ever i log on there are about 2-12, But everyone uses the murcielago so it isnt as fun. Dunno know about Test drive havent played it but i heard onlines great and it is value for muny. After playing carbon id probably go for test drive, nfs carbon is too short. (Sorry this post has spelling errors and is set out badly, i typed it on my phone.)
