Best Buy has NFS Shift on sale for $39.99 for anyone who needs something to tidy them over until GT5 releases.

It has gotten great reviews and the biggest complaint that people have is that it is unNFSish (no open world, no cops, no plot) but looks like a great racing game nevertheless if you are a racing fan. I believe the demo hits PSN on Thursday and Best Buy's price should be good until Saturday at least.

All of those things are what makes me actually want the game. I would pick this up if I wasn't saving my money for Uncharted 2.
Also Amazon has it for the same price (plus free shipping and no sales tax)
There is a demo coming out for it soon.
I really want to try before I buy.

Very smart choice, there is a reason for the $40 price and I'd be willing to bet if you wait another month it'll be $20. Those great reviews baffle me. The car handling is the worst in any racing game I have ever played. I rented and felt like I wasted the $5 I paid to rent it.
