is it, i have it pre-ordered from game *checks if they sent it yet*
edit: yay it shipped today (site stays released in 9 days go figure)
I bought it today and tweaked my Logitech DFGT to my liking (still need to fix the pedals though) and i have to agree that this game is Intensity In-Ten-Cities. It will gladly hold me off until GT5s eventual release later this year.
The sound and cockpit view are just great, online doesnt have to many modes but it has ran veerry smooth... especially on the first day.

I'm sorry, but this post makes me think you've never driven a real car. I personally didn't like shift at all, although I didn't use a wheel so maybe it's better than a controller but I don't think it's as realistic as you make it out to be.
I was going to wait until GT5 for my racing fix, but I'm really in the mood for a game like this and from what I've seen, it'll definitely fill the void until GT5 comes out. Picking it up tomorrow.Flame_Blade88
^ i agree
After reading up on NFS: Shift i totally take back what i said above and I'll be picking Shift up as soon as possible
Shift is great. On professional physics mode it's as realistic as you will get on consoles. Excellent physics and handling model. It also has impressive g force modeling and tire modeling. You can feel every little bump on uneven pavement. Also does an excellent job of catching the intensity of racing. Higher tiered, more powerful cars feel more untamed and wild.
The cockpit view is excellent, but personally I prefer the windshield. Especially if you have a wheel, it makes no sense to me to have a wheel in front of you and then another on the screen if it just limits your view.
