yeah played it on normal and beat it with ease, got trapped on the last boss with no health recovery at all and still beat him with most of health items or elixers. Started it on hard and i was so far up to chapter 3 and it was really easy. Imo spam izuna drop on the samuaris/soldiers ect and its way too easy.

As long as you just get use to the system I think all games can be easy. I was playing Blazblue trying to defeat Unlimited Ragna on hell mode and lost so many times...but then I started noticeing the habits and holes in their defense and I just exploit them now, piece of cake.

The game for the most part is challenging, it takes some getting used to. Murai for me took only two tries, but some other bosses, for some reason the fire dragon, took me many more. I wouldn't call it easy, I wouldn't call it average.

It isn't as hard as everyone says, but still more difficult than usual. If you don't play videogames a lot, you're going to find it impossible.

Still a great game though

I disagree, but I'm in a situation where I'll not play the game for a year and then go back and have to start over because I forget how to block, or do all these crazy combos that they expect you to memorize. Luckily I like the first few levels enough to not care, lol.

well what about DMC3 i consider that as one of the most challenging and fun games that i have ever played oh and im talking about the original not the special edition one (see they actually released an easier edition "special edition" just because gamers had a tough time with it

I've never found a game I couldn't beat, from CoD on Veteran, to RE5 on Professional. I'm sure most hardcore players feel the same, but for everyone else these games (and NGS) are quite hard.

It's not a hard game at all. In fact, rather generic imo.

The only thing that makes it "hard" are the crappy controls and camera that work against you through out the entire game. A rather cheap and lazy way to make it "challenging" for having the rep of being a "hard game".

Playing this was kind of like playing God Of War. Only God Of War was made better than this and doesn't actually punish you for moving forward on the screen.

That's only way I've found Ninja Gaiden Sigma hard. There's no reason they had to make the controls like that, it forces you to stop long combos and do 2-3 heavy hits then back off because another enemy will probably hit you and there's nothing you can do about it:( My favorite combat system would be in

DMC: perfect camera angle, challenging difficulty and the ability to attack multiple enemys.

It's pretty easy once you get the hang of the fast gameplay. Boss battles are trial and error for the most part, if I died, I usually beat them the second try.

My most Notable achievement back when i played it on Xbox was Killing Alma first encounter with no Spiritual elixirs or devil elixirs on Hard difficulty. It was like pitch perfect timing and everything.

The PS3 version seemed easier to me than the original Xbox version that might be what you are hearing mostly. The game still is difficult but not as hard as the Xbox version which was to hard IMO.

No, Ninja Gaiden has a targetting system. An action game is one where you focus on one opponent at a time.

Dynasty Warriors is nothing like Ninja Gaiden, as you're surrounded by opponents but you don't swing at any one in particular.

Maybe I'm alone on this one but I've beaten DMC3 black label on Dante Must Die and didn't found it very hard , I was actually impressed on how some people point it as an extremely hard game, anyways , that said I CAN'T BEAT THAT BOSS IN THE TOP OF THE ZEPELLIN ON HARD IN NGS , it is by far the hardest battle I've seen in a game(maybe my gaming skills have been downgraded dunno :?).Any tips on that?

Jump, Triangle. If you can get behind him for a second, you could maybe get two hits in.

Might have to do a lot of dodging, but Jump, Triangle is the best method I've found against that mutant.

Main problem with Ninja Gaiden being considered so hard was on the original xbox (non black) version of NG where they had no difficulty settings under the default one....so anyone who had trouble didn't really have an option to make it easier and started complaining. Some parts of the original Ninja Gaiden were harder on the easiest setting than other games were on their hardest setting....so you can kinda see why some people complained about it.

I beat MGS and DMC3 on the hardest difficulty and NGS was a lot harder for me. I never really had much of a problem with the camera angle. I'm pretty sure if you press R1 it will center the camera behind Ryu so I never really had a problem with it. I think what made it harder is that you can't attack multiple enemies. All of my combos would be cut short because the enemy right next to the one I was killing would attack me and I'd have to block/dodge. This wasn't a problem on DMC bc Dante would just plow through enemies.

Oh, and whoever said NGS and Dynasty Warriors are similar, I don't think I've ever heard a worse comparison in my life. They are nowhere near the same type of game

I agree with you all the way. Ninja Gaiden Sigma was extremely easy. BUT the original on the regular xbox was not easy at all. I am not talking about Ninja Gaiden black either. I mean the original was tough. You could not go straight to your inventory, the save spots were not as generous and to tell the truth the enemies were a lot tougher in the orginal.

I too look for and enjoy hard games. If you want tough go get Shinobi for the PS2... now that was a tough ninja game.

From what I've heard, the developers loves to hear it's difficult, cause then they want to make it even more difficult. Sigma 2 might give you a run for your money.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma in general is a hard game. Nothing impossible though you have to know when to defend, dash/jump, attack at the appropriate time. Can't just go around mashing buttons. I've died a number of times playing through this on normal however I still completed it and started another playthrough on the next difficulty level but I quit playing some time ago and moved onto other games.

Tc I too have played the original DMC3 for the Ps2 and from what I remember it was also a hard game, espically the last boss fight. Can't say which game is harder but I will say the average gamer or intermediate player would find both games as "hard".
