i thought ninja gaiden would have been better....i played both demos and i like devil may cry better i dont even think ima get ninjas gaiden anymore...but i look at the reviews here on gamespot and Sigma got better reviews than DMC4.
Ninja gaiden is a lot older and devil may cry has better graphics, go for devil may cry if thats what you enjoyed more. Ninja gaiden is more of an original adventure though and more rewarding i guess.
I enjoyed Ninja Gaiden more. DMC4 is very repetitive, multiple fights with the same boss, running through environments where you have already been. They are both great games though.
That probaly a members only price at gamefly, are you a member? Anyway my reasoning would be you get NGS you play and beat the game, you are going to want to play the sequel and it is a 360 exclusive, its the reason I didnt get Splinter Cell because I wont get to play the next game. At least with DMC if there is a next game, you should be able to play it.

play the demo for DMC and you've got the whole experiance, sigma has way more too it. get sigma!. this is coming from a guy who baught dmc4 and did not buy sigma.
I have Ninja Gaiden Sigma & it's a fun but difficult game. There are moments through the game where it gets to be a bit annoying. I've played Devil May Cry 1, 2 & 3 & I recently just ordered Devil May Cry 4 through Gamefly so I can't wait to get it!!!
Buy Ninja Gaiden, rent DMC. DMC is okay and it looks great, but the gameplay gets REALLY old REALLY fast. Ninja Gaiden is just insane... it's a little on the difficult side, though.

Don't go by reviews, judge for yourself.
You'll probably find that DMC4 is the better choice.
wanna know a good opinion? here goes.. i have the both games.. and sigma is extremely overrated and DMC underrated.. i would make sigma get a 7.5 and DMC a 9.0.. heres why.. people say DMC is repetitive.. listen.. thats nonsense.. DMC has much more of different ways to finish your opponents for example.. u have so many diff techniques, so many different weapons.. upgrades.. transformations.. and u say its repetitive just because u walk through the same scenario twice? well wanna know what? i enjoyed that.. cause i could walk through the same places with dante that i did with Nero and it WAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! and to those who say u battle repeatedly with bosses (once again with different characters which makes it completely diferent..) BOSS FIGHTS ARE AWESOME.. now.. on to sigma.. i didnt even have motivation to play it.. lets compare.. (lolz.. cmon dont compare the stories.. ninja gaiden is shallow..) graphics.. O.O DMC is beautifully designed.. really.. and just when i inserted ninja gaiden more 2 friends we all kindamake a face like this :\ ... i wouldnt have nothin against ninja gaiden.. for some reason i bought it.. it was 70euros! but not even close it was worth it... gameplay.. to the people who say its repetitive go rest a lil u talk nonsense.. ^^ listen.. u can get dozens of different fight styles in DMC conditioned by techniques transformations items weapons.. etc.. in ninja gainde u only get different weapons.. (and know what, to the point i played ALL of them suck hard, excluding the ONE first weapon u received in the beggining of the game!!! Oo). here is my opinion and i guarantee it is a good one. ;)
