Considering Team Ninja made NG a few year back I can't complain about the graphics. If comparing the Xbox version to the PS3 you'll see quite the difference so imo they did a great job. If you really want to compare graphics you could take a look at the original Heavenly Sword which was planned for Xbox. I love my PS3 but I gotta give credit to Team Ninja. Besides Itagaki is only one man, he ain't the whole Team Ninja.
I'm comparing NGS to other games out on the PS3 and not comparing it to a old gen game. Thats where NGS just looks mediocre. Yes Ryu looks amazing and so does other main characters but everything else looks amazing and half assed (the blood splatter). Team Ninja still haven't learned how to use their Camera.
Why should i compare the beta Heavenly Sword with old gen NG? Those aren't even the games out (or coming out) on PS3.
I hope next title team ninja puts out will have a better story, camera and graphics. I love their Combat System though :)
