This may have been brought up before in previous posts but I'd like to know why Namco built up a solid Playstation fan base with the Ace Combat series and then dumped them by making Ace Combat 6 for the 360 only. I would have cared less if the game was made for multiple platforms but NO PS3 game in the works? I feel slapped in the face. I may only have 2 cents to offer but they won't be spent on any Namco games in the future. Which is too bad because I was seconds away from shelling out $100 for the new Time Crisis game/gun. Ace Combat was my favorite game next to Final Fantasy and I feel like I've been robbed. To essentially ask their Playstation fan base to go out and spend $350+ to play Ace Combat (a new 360 plus the Ace Combat game + taxes, etc.) is ridiculous. The assumption that I would spend that kind of money to follow them was plain wrong.
AC6 was slated as a timed exclusive for the 360 with a PS3 version to follow. however namco/bandai has been quiet about it since the release of the 360 version. the speculation now is that the project is either being pushed back or cancelled. more than likely there will be more news at some of the major game conferences this year. if namco stays true to form, we wont know anything about it until the acesweb page gets updated. and thats ussually 3 to 4 months before release.

I expect a Ridge Rager situation where the 360 has one version because it was out first but the next installment will be either on both or just on the PS3. I mean why spend time making AC6 for the PS3 when they can just focus on 7 for the PS3.
I don't know if I'm the only one, and I'm not all that bothered as I have a 360 too, but do you feel a bit hard done by, like having played the entire ace combat series on PS?
