heavenly sword blowed so badlyblazinpuertoroc
maybe if it would've taken more than 4 hours to beat, I might have enjoyed it more.. Although no source=no thread.
The game didn't blow at all, the cutscenes and gameplay were amazing.
Gamespot is pretty much the source, didn't you see the article. I know its still speculation, but I think it's pretty much scratched, and if it isn't; its not coming ANY time soon......which will be too long for a sequel unless there's demand for it.

Here is where he got it from. No matter how you slice it, it's still a rumor and isn't confirmed. HS2 is still possible.

Now I was reading that article, and from the looks of it, for 345,000 copies sold which times $60, they made $20 million off of heavenly sword, now I wonder what was the budget of the game?
I thought Heavenly Sword was great.. but i'm not hoping for a sequel... turning a game like that into a series makes already slightly repetitve gameplay, very repetitve gameplay.
Yeah, in no means would I be hyped for HS2 like GoW3. GoW3 is one of my most anticipated games ever though, i absolutely loved the first two. HS I felt was different from the GoW's though.
Doesn't really bother me. GoW III BABY!G-Legend

GoW has better fighting, it has better puzzles and it has platforming with a jump button. HS didn't have those mechanics down. GoW III will be amazing can't wait :D

I agree but Ninja Gaiden, God of War, and every other action/hack n slash game falls into this category. Dont you think?
If there complaining about how many copies sold I find that laughable. For one most people who read up on this game knew it was short and could easily be beaten in three days with little to no replay value. Why would I pay $60 for this game that is 6-8 hours when I could rent for $5 and beat it before I even have to return it.
Gamers aren't dumb.
(I just bought this game for my brother off of Ebay for $35 since he really wanted it even though I told him it was short, oh well I still need to play it also.)
If this is true then It's no real loss to me. The only thing I liked about the first Heavenly Sword were the boss fights (especially the epic final boss). GOWIII will be where it's at for hack n' slash gameplay >_>!
