exactly my thoughts, 2015 would be a better time to release the ps4. although i've been a ps3 owner since 2007, my dad and a few friends of mine just recently got their first ps3 (i'm sure there are alot of other new ps3 owners right now too) so a 2012 or 2013 release would be a bad idea (in my opinion)

no, sony hasn't confirmed a ps4 at all. from what i've seen, most people who thought that the ps4 was gonna be revealed in 2012 also that it would release in 2012 but i don't know why. sony said during e3 last year that the wii-u doesn't effect the release of the ps4 and that the ps4 won't come out for a hand full of years so if i had to guess, i'd say the ps4 won't come out until 2014 or 2015

Good news, I doubt anyone would be expecting a 2012 launch. What's the big rush for next gen consoles anyway? Better graphics? Wow. I can see PS3 running for another 2 to 3 years and there's plenty of great games to catch up on. Even in 2015 if PS4 does launch, it will be at least 2 years after that before I purchase one.

Not to worry, it'll be worth the wait. PS3 still has lots to offer, especially visually (just look at RAGE).

I hope for early 2014 for ps4 launch and don't know why people keep saying there loads of life left in the ps3.It like 7 years old hardware the graphic aren't gona get better 2012 line up look decen't but can't see 2013 being any better game wise.I mean like mass effect 3 finish and then there GTA5 XCOM,GRFS,DevilMay Cry remake and res recoon city and more,like how 2013 or even 2014 be any better.We need new hardware and New AA game and not on current outdate consoles with same graphics and terrible AI from current consoles and bad bugs in game for exsample syrim great game but the slow down kill it.The bad graphic glitchs in crysis 2 it really show ps3 age.

look at the time line of the playstation family there is a new console every 6 years if the ps4 is released in 2013 its already a year later that is traditional

plus the ps3 hardware is really starting to show its age
