hello Commandos, racing drivers, Spartans, Dogs, thugs, Staking Dudes, Robots, irresistible killer robot bunny rabbits, or what ever you are, in your pieces of plastic and metal, with electricity flowing through it. I'm Nathan Bennett, and i just came from a forum off of Console Spot (I Know Treason, cut my head off) I've came across a thread, in that, Sony is believe to not been releasing a PSP2 for quite a while (until atleast 2012). (off of a (Not so) Reliableresource)
and well... People agreed that it was a Good idea. That the New N3DS will wipe the PSP clean, and that Sony should spend more resources in making the PSN network better. people thought "if it hasn't got a touch screen, or 3D gaming- there is no point in having a psp 2"

Has it really gone down to Touch screen's, 3D and motion Sensors? personally, i hate the darn things, (apart from 3D).

all i believw sony needs to do, is invite the New PSP to have:

A Stunning High Definition Display (720p anyone?)

a Kickass Processor (like the A4 1GHz(Apple's i know))

and a great GamePad configuration (Dual ThumbSticks).

and possibly a new Operating System.

For the psp to be a graphics king it has to either be as big as an ipad or be as expensive as one.

A topic among 100's. Regardless, no matter how bad/expensive the PSP 2 is I'll be getting one. Sony has never failed to impress me and I doubt it ever would.

i honeslty dont ven know what sony is doing anymore. nintendo is going to have the 3ds out for over a year, with great games, great graphics, and a reasonable price. thats a fantatsic foothold, Every day sony waits after the 3ds, is another nail in the psp 2, which is not even out yet. If the ds showed us anything, power doesnt mean automatic win in the console world.

Patience...is the key to success. What Sony is doing is the right thing. Two types of handheld gamers. The Pro Sony and Anti Sony. The Anti Sony wants Sony to stay quiet so they can over hype the 3DS, the Pro Sony guy wants them to hurry up and announce something so they have the ability to argue against the 3DS. This isbusiness CHESS. Nothing more Nothing less. It is a chess game. We know that Sony has something coming, what we do not know is WHEN and WHAT. Be patient you all and buy more PSP games in the mean time. Sony has the upper hand right now because they know what their opponent is doing. They are studing the opponent in detail yall. Sony already has their feet wet in the handheld market, do you really think they are going to let us down? Have you not played a PS3 or PSP yet to know these people? I want even mention the greatness that was the PS1 and PS2.....my my my how we gamers forget so fast. Coolyfett understands that you are tired of 3DS future gamers talking smack. Coolyfett says be patient, let the little dog bark behind the fence, eventually the gate to that yard will open and the OTHER dog will run in. Check Sonys track record of the 4 systems they have put out, which one was terrible?? They only thing the PSP community really needs to worry about is the competitive pricing and software. The software will get handled now that Sony has experience. The pricing of the device is where Coolyfett sees a major challenge. They have to stay withing the 20 bux range. If they are over 20 bux more than the 3DS...its gonna be trouble. That is why what they are doing right now is the right thing. Waiting to see what they can add or subject from the future Sony handheld without being way above the price of the 3DS. Coolyfett knows business. The Price is so important. People are not going to run out and buy a 3DS immediately...hardcore gamers will, but PEOPLE will not. Sony can announce their device a week before the release of the 3DS and it will mess up everyones plans, stock trades, game development, change of hearts/rethinks of the consumer...trust Coolyfett Sony has plenty of time to have perfect Battle Plan errr.....Business Plan.

Not completely right because that was the same thing many people said about the DS. Everyone were like Wow it will have a bunch of support and great games at launch. But in reality i still remember when i bought mines and the only great game available was a remake of certain game and it took about a year for games to start arriving and as of today a there are more shovelware than real games. Competition hardware sold very cheap with a bunch of shovelware most based on kids stuff like Dora the Explore and so on = more units sold. And yes i have the competition hardware but with great games.

....

sorry if i sound a little "mad"

i get your guys point's, in that after the 3DS is gone and forgotten about for a while, sony has the spotlight to shine.

i know they'll shine more then Nintendo, i just can't wait to play WipEout on what ever i'll play WipEout on.

Not to be a picky one, but I must disagree with the equation you suggest. I do agree that price and game support are some of the key components of success, but first to release does not always mark a winner. Just ask Sega...
