nah, i really want a long RPG and well i was looking forward to co-op with another buddy of mine. We do co-op everything together, i guess uncharted 2 will give me my co-op i want with my friends... It just sucks that i can just throw my bud a controller, as his on the couch. *sigh* i guess gamers dont have friends in real life, atleast this is what game devs are saying..Don't, that'd be a stupid reason to pass up on an awesome game, it bugs me too but just think of it more as a singleplayer game, unless you were only interested in the multiplayer features?

I don't care much for Demon' Souls, but it's odd that From Software is choosing not to incorporate voice chat, and friend invites for online multi-player. Hmm.

Yeah thats kind've a speed bump as i just told two buddies of mine about it, bah i'll still pick it up.
Demon's Souls was never marketed as multiplayer game.
It's has consistent connection to online world but it's entirely unique experience, not found in today's games.
It's a single player game with unique online elements implemented. ;)
Nah, you know what im keep my deluxe edition, i guess i can see the online co-op as an extra feature like MGS4. I just hope this RPG as enough to make for it. (100+ gameplay i hope )Javieralijandro
I have heard it takes between 40-60 hours to finish your first game (unless you spend allot of time level grinding). After that there is + game replays where the game difficulty jumps up, and allows you to further level up (top is around 700 ish) and gather items.

Demon's Souls isn't an RPG.
Aside from dieing at the bosses, and repeating the level again and again, there's about 15 hours of gameplay.
yes it is an rpg.
Btw, for you who are changing your mind about this game: You will regret it =).
Probably one of the most rewarding games i have ever played as far as modern games go.
And the MP part is totally justified, and here is why.
This game is 100% about risk, whenever you make a choice in this game you are risking to lose as much as you can gain. If you would be able to invite friends, we would have thousands of players constanly grouping. Which would not only make the game easy (worst sin of all as they are still selling Oblivion so go get that =O), but it would break its PvP aspect pretty much.
You see, at any moment a "dead" player can enter your game against your will to kill you... why? To get his body back by taking yours, so he can get his stats back. This adds alot to the game for what its meant to be, RISK and a feeling of overcomming something HARD. Now imagine half of the playerbase playing in groups of 3-4 at most times...noone would pvp because not knowing what you go into its a much bigger chance of just losing all your souls. And add the fact that alot of noobs DC, i think its safe to say that the developers made more of a right choice than a wrong one...
A last note (and a much shorter one XD)...you will forget your damn friends when you play this game...its that satisfying.
So buy it or give the money to charity or lose =)
