Nobody playing Uncharted?

I have almost 60 friends in my friends list and i don't recall seeing anyone playing Uncharted. I know for a fact that two of my friends have it, i guess i never caught them playing. I know my friends list doesn't represent anything in the PS3 owners online universe, but it bothers me a little that only a small amount of my friends have this game. I don't own it yet, but i can't wait to get my hands on it when it gets to the place where i live (an island in the middle of the Atlantic).

I don't know the sales figures, but is it possible that it's not selling so well? I find it hard to believe that PS3 owners would miss out on this game.

anyone know how many units it sold? i'm still waiting to finish my other games until I get Uncharted. I am sure everyone here like me felt the bombardment of games laid on us the past few weeks. :)feryl06

I heard it's only 200,000, which is terrible. Being a Sony fan at heart, the attachment rate thing is killing me. I imagine Naughty Dog is not happy. Why don't people buy games?

It's definitely on my buy list.

I'm still trying to finish Folklore, as soon as I'm done Uncharted is coming home :)

I'm really enjoying Folklore at the moment, each boss fight is great, especially the Undersea one.

You are just the type of gamer i have a question for. when you say "finished" do you mean played through once? like on normal or hard? or does that mean completing the entire 1000 points thing for all the collectables, headshots, etc.Or is it just played through enough to enjoy it? I am not trying to flame anyone here, I just wondered. Let me know if you get a minute.

I agree with your statement (it's exactly what i think about gamers that renter), but it does not apply to me.

I played it and loved it. Awesome game. A little short, but I'd rather it end before I get bored of it.

Oh, and not everyone enjoys getting all the Achievements. To me, "finish" means play the game from beginning to end, not play the game until every single feature/award has been unlocked. That's just crazy. The game's not that good.

Cool man, I was just curious. I saw your were buying it. No hurt intended. I just thought you might also be a renter or have some buddies that are. I have always wondered when they (renters) say finished what they mean.janzaruk

My guess would be that they just enjoy playing through once. Mostly because they don't care about sidequest,skillpoints, harder levels, unlocks and such.

They just care about the story?

No, the game is awesome. I've gone through it once already, but I'm waiting for after finals and in winter break to give it another run through with my Dual Shock 3.WongB

i made the mistake of buying this and mass effect on the same day, i got pretty far in this game but i ended up getting sucked into mass effectgamespot4life

Uncharted is a great game, but I'm afraid it's getting lost in the shuffle. There are just so many other incredible games to play this year. It says a lot that in the year of Halo, Mass Effect, Call Of Duty 4, Rock Band, Warhawk, The Orange Box, Assassin's Creed, Ratchet & Clank, and Bioshock , Uncharted is one of my favorite games of the year.

I think they already returned it to Block Buster or something. I love this game but not enough for me to buy it. I rented it just like others, and I played through it three times, and after that there was nothing else left for me to be satisfied with. I hope they'll have multiplayer on the next one, I'd buy that in a minute.

Here is a key question you need to answer yourself. Where did you meet all these friends. If you met them playing Resistance, Rainbow or COD 4 then you kind of got a bad sampling. Not all online gamers enjoy story oreiented titles.I forone love solid single player games more but everyone is different.

Believe it or not, MGS3 the greatest MGS game ever, almost flopped in sales. Just in case you don't know, but anyway.

I bought Uncharted and CoD4 on the same day, and I like multiplayer games, I love Warhawk, pretty good pilot and I am looking forward to buy Unreal3( living in EU... F****) BUT I have spend most of the time with this unique, superb, mastgerpiece of high fidelity entertainment called Uncharted so far! Great game. A true Naughty Dog game. CoD4... what's that... ah, that second game I bought.
