Wow you really have to look up Littlebigplanet. This is exactly what you're looking for and what many PS3 owners like me are looking for. I could describe it but a video is the best way to experience this. Also read articles about it and you will be DROOLING!jasong1011
Yes! Little big planet is an awsome game to look forward too.
Otherwise, maybe Rock Band(I've played that thing, honestly, 100hrs+), Star Wars: Force Unleased(When it comes out),
Assassin's Creed is the only one I can think of that's not a shooter. Almost every game (besides the sport and racing genres) have at least some shooting (e.g. Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Devil May Cry). DNChan
Having some shooting doesn't make a game a part of the shooter genre.
Devil May Cry 4/Ratchet and Clank can hardly be counted as shooters but Uncharted: Drake's Fortune definately falls into the TPS category. Anyway, I would recommend any of the following games:
Metal Gear Solid 4 (this is actually a stealth action game, but you can do a lot of shooting if you prefer to do so)
Burnout Paradise (a good racing game with lots to do, a free city to roam, and great looking vehicles)
Siren: Blood Curse (definately not long enough but amazingly enjoyable, this game is a stealth survival horror game)
Lair (You battle from the top of a dragon...that should be enough. It's not nearly as bad as reviewers and other players say, so give it a chance)
Condemned 2: Bloodshot (a fun first-person survival horror game. There are guns in this game but the major emphasis is on melee combat)
Ninja Gaiden Sigma (a difficult but fun action game)
any of those should suit you fine and will keep you occupied for a while.

He said no shooters....It's even in the title.
I don't consider it a shooter. I consider it Action-Adventure (which is also how IGN and Gamespot list it).

Well you still shoot through the whole game, which he doesn't want.

He didn't say that, he said he doesn't want shooters - which is a specific genre, not necessaricly any game which involves shooting.

So what are you saying, shooters don't having shooting in it?
Look at GTA IV, thats a shooter, but it's under the Action Adventure genre. It's only cause you get to run around and stuff.
CoD4, MGS4, Army of 2, R6V2, RFoM, and a few others are good ones. Alfred91
/facepalm
Thats all I have to say

Uncharted is also considered as a shooter
