Non-Shooter reccomendations?

Hi everyone I'm thinking of buying a PS3 and one of the main reasons is because i love assassin's creed, and because the 360 is always getting complaints about it being defective and stuff... And i'm sruprisingly not into shooting games like gears of war and all that stuff heheh... I don't mind ratchet and clank, but im not really into shooters. can anyone tell me a few PS3 games that are worth buying that arent shooters? I've been hearing that kingdom hearts 3 is coming for ps3 or something, is this true? and is final fantasy also coming for PS3? oh and i dont think i'd like heavenly sword by the way lol.

Non-shooters, eh? Well then according to your plan you should get Assassin's Creed. I would also recommend Heavenly Sword, although you might want to rent it first.

Burnout Paradise is a fantastic racing game that you'll probably like. If you're hesitant about shooters because you're bad at them, I would recommend Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, because I hated FPSs until it came along.

Another racing game, if offroading is more your style, is Motorstorm, which you'd get either way if you buy the 80gb PS3.

I'm not sure about Oblivion, not having played it but you could try it on the word of previous posts.

Those are the games I would start out with, and then just build on your collection from there.

yeah i think kh3 was confirmed for ps3 and final fantasy is coming for sure.

Your a few slices of bread short of a sandwitch. Assasins Creed on 360 is fine, GOW rules, I think you should get Final Fantasy. Because of your bread shortage you might not like Oblivion. I'm sorry, you post more than the mailman and I fount what you said in this post to be pretty silly, but your still loved, if that helps.

NBA2K8 (Can't go wrong w/2K)

Fight Night Round 3 (Not bad for EA)

Virtua Tennis 3 (It's Sega demo was fun)

Mortal Kombat 2 ($5 classic)

Marvel Ultimate Alliance

Ninja Gaiden Sigma

Lair (only if you're up for trying to learn and play in an innovative way because you have to move with the SIXAXIS motion sensing feature)

Heavenly Sword

Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction (there's shooting in it but I think you may still like it)

Folklore (the most underrated PS3 exclusive at the moment)

These are the one's I would recommend to try out, just know that Marvel Ultimate Alliance is the only one from the list that supports multiplayer.
