noob to ps3 whats best exclusives?

I got a ps3 for christmas :) but didnt get any games :| so decided to reup gamefly. got entered in their console giveaway just in time (fyi: http://www.gamefly.com/features/playerschoice ) it ends tomorrow. wish me luck!

but now I need to fill my q. I've got Little big planet and Batman AA on the way already.

I curious what everyones favorite ps3 exclusive is??

Wow... too bad you got a console but no games to play.

I'd recommend Uncharted 2, and if you like shooters, Killzone 2. If you like RPGs, get Demon's Souls.

I'd also recommend inFamous.

Thanks for the help guys. I never had a Playstation 2 and PS3 and all the games are totally new to me, so I'm open to anything. I always played my brothers 360 so im really interested in exclusives.

Figured gamefly would be perfect for this so Im going add anything you guys suggest to my q.

MGS4, Valkyria Chronicles, infamous, Uncharted Series.....I personally find those to be the exclusives that stand on there own as some of the best if not the best in their repective genre, not too overhyped do to lack of other titles/choices....ususally shooters.

There are also some non-exclusives that I would get on PS3 instead of my 360 due to extra or timed exclusive content/extras. Donte's Inferno comes to mind and Batman AA which I believe you already have.

I never get tired of LittleBigPlanet. It's ideal for making your own original games, or those classic SNES or Sega titles. The great part is how cute or twisted you can make your levels. If you have an eyetoy, then you can stick your mugshot into the game. The creation process might take a while, but it's totally worth it. Check out Youtube for countless tutorials or custom levels.

Uncharted always brings a smile to my face. Great characterisation and replay value. (It's not possible to unlock all the treasures/extras first time through.)

Resistance 1 and 2 are worth a mention. They might not be groundbreaking shooters, but they do everything well.

I got a 120Gb Slim for Christmas, and got God of War Collection, LittleBIGPlanet, Killzone 2, and Demon's Souls and have been in gaming bliss. Demon's Souls is probably my favorite so far, followed by Killzone 2, but Demon's Souls has one of the steepest learning curves of any game I've played and Killzone 2's controls aren't for everyone..

Uncharted 2 and inFAMOUS are the two best exclusives on the PS3 if you ask me. Also, if you're a fan of shooters than there's Killzone 2, and since you like LBP you must be into platformers, so there's Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time.

Metal Gear Solid 4-Stealth/third person shooter that has an excellent story. (lots of cutscenes) It got a 10/10 on gamespot.

Resistance: Fall of Man-Takes place around WWII and instead of WWII happening an allien race (Chimera) tries to took over the world. 40 players can play online.

Resistance 2-Sequel, has giant boss fights, 60 players online, and 8 player co-op.

Killzone 2-Gritty FPS of a war between two factions. Has a cover system, excellent AI and graphics. Can have 32 players online and is clas s based.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune-A third person shooter in which you are stranded on an island. Also has platforming.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves-Sequel. Has way more areas to go, co-op, and multiplayer. Is a longer game than first. It is the VGA's Game of the Year

Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction-Platformer that mixes shooting with crazy weapons and platforming

Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time-Sequel to first.

Demon's Souls-A RPG that you pick from different clas ses. It is a difficult and rewarding game. You can give hints by dropping message on the ground if you have online and if your hint gets recommended you get health back. If you die you must restart the whole level. There is no pause button. Only for the hardcore gamers but is a great game. It also is gamespot's 2009 Game of the Year

Heavenly Sword-Think God of War execpt with a chick, is rated teen, and is not as good. Short game, and is still good.

God of War Collection (Updated PS2 games)-2 remakes of excellent PS2 games. It's Greek mythology, there is hack n slash and plenty of gore. Also comes with the God of War 3 demo.

MLB 09: The Show (also on PS3 and PS2)-The best MLB game.

Warhawk-Online only game that you have planes, tanks, jeeps, and others. Fast paced and fun. Very popular game.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma (remake of first NG game)-Remake of the first. Is a hard game, and you hack n slash. Lots of Gore

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 (has bonus features that 360 version does not have)-Sequel. Has co-op but no gore.

inFAMOUS-Superhero/Supervillian game. Relies on choices that make you good/evil. You have electric powers and you can climb up building.

Motorstorm-Racing game that is very popular. Fun for all racing fans.

Socom:Confrontation-Online only tactical third person shooter. Very popular on PS3 and the bug/ glitches have been patched. For the hardcore

Honestly, this gen has been terrible for exclusives. You could easily get by with one console, or maybe one HD console and the Wii.

grats to your PS3 and welcome on the board ^^ If you're able to go online with your PS3, the demos alone can entertain you for weeks and give you an idea what kinde of Game you could enjoy. Personally my fav. PS3 Exclusives are Disgaea 3 and Katamari Forever by far, but I have a special taste.
