Due to my time spent with Rpgs and fighting games i don't play many shooters, but recently i have had the urge to pick one up. I just wanted some feed on which one i should get, and which one would be most worth my money. I like a good story, but im also up for capping online, and with so many options i would like some recommendations!
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 are the best out right now. MW2 might be more friendly to those who have played shooters less.
Shooters with good stories are Resistance 1 and Bioshock.
Shooters with good online are Battlefield Bad Company 2, Modern Warfare 2 and MAG.

I played resistance a while back *GREAT GAME* and bioshock was Meh lol I guess im wanting a good onliner, Well which do you prefer out of BFBC2, MW2, and MAG, and what makes the one you choose better?

I had mw2 and it was really great the sp was really fun but online wasn't as fun. Online has problems but if you could play through it then its a great game. As for BC2, Mw2 is better for sp imo but the Mutiplayer is really fun since you get tanks, helicopters and boats.
Fallout 3. RPG... with guns! What more could you ask for? Muahahaha!
But seriously if you're looking for some good online play, go Modern Warfare 2 if you like classic fun, or with the newly released Battlefield: Bad Company 2 if you're into the strategy aspect of war more.

I would get BFBC2. MW2 has too many connection issues and glitches, even though it is addictively fun. MAG I haven't played but it had mixed reviews. I think it looks really good though. BFBC2 is a fan favorite and playing the demo revived my interested in shooters.
