Right, so I'm looking to buy Prince of Persia 2008 for the low, low price of a tenner on the store. I have my credit card details already entered and stored and I go to add some cash to my wallet. It gives me the option of Credit Card or Playstation pre-paid Card and I of course select Credit Card.

It then asks me how much I want to add, I select the desired amount and...." Funds could not be added to the wallet ":|

And that's it; no explanation why, no recommended steps to hopefully resolving the problem. Not even a damn error code.

Anyone ever come across this? The card details are definitely correct and it's most definitely not maxed out. It's a MasterCard which is accepted by the store.

I'm Googling this as we speak but it'd be handy to hear if anyone else has encountered this and if they managed to remedy the situation.

Thanks.

This was a problem that became a issue for me for a while. My card worked fine when i first signed up, then no longer would accept it. luckly amazon was selling online codes. But as i went to tell you about the online amazon codes, they were gone, this has happened before, then i googled and it seems PS is trying to lure back people into using there store and not didgital codes after the hack.

all and all. you will have to hit a gamestop or a 711 for a psn card.

That's a shame, I was hoping to do it from the comfort of my own home :(

Thanks for the help man.

I had an issue arrise last year and I contacted customer service. They told me to do a number of things like delete card and reenter, none of which worked so I started just buying codes from Amazon which was not to much of a hassle but now they dont carry them.

Same thing happens to me constantly; I went to download the movie Red State cause it was $5.99 on PSN and 800 MS points (about $10 USD) and it refused to process the rental on my card, or add funds to my wallet. In the past I have just deleted my payment history, but this it made no difference, it just would not process the damn card. Frustrating as all hell.

I just bought a pre-paid card so it's all good. Still annoying that I can't just use a cradit card there and then but whatever.
