Well I still plan on getting it for PS3 when released but Sony and SE from the beginning obviously had a deal for PS3 only and this just feels like a spit in the face for Sony and FF fans. I understand that SE in a trying to run a business and make money, but if they had a deal with Sony then they should just keep it regardless of how much money MS waved in their faces. I'm really not feeling the luv for SE right now. Oh well, guess this is the reality for 3rd party exclusives from now on. :(

Neither am I. I was originally going to get FFXIII for sure on release but after hearing the news today I'm gonna rethink that purchase, just feel real dissapointed in the way Sony and SE are taking.

If the deal wasn't on paper it means nothing.

I feel for ya. Its a hard blow, I wonder which version will sell more. My only concern is that it won't be as good a game now on either system.

Who cares? You can get it on the system you want. I prefer multi-plat, only because more people can enjoy games. I'll get it for the PS3 for sure, but why would it be a spit in the face for FF fans? Most of my friends, who are FF fans, got a 360. But yeah, I agree that it was a "spit in the face" for Sony and Sony fans. I don't have too much of a problem with SquE's decision, but it seems like most people are either cheering or wailing about FFXIII for the 360. What's done is done.

Get used to it, the business has changed. They have stockholders to take care of. Let's say your working on a game and you have a deal in place with Sony (hypothetically) and it's for 50 million then Microsoft starts talking to you and asks if you could develop said game for their system and will pay you 100 million for it. Are you just going to say no thanks 50 million is enough heck no.

That's the way third party gaming is going from now on. The only studios impervious to it are in house studios. Look on the bright side Sony has some premiere first party studios.

Sony doesnt know how to hold onto a major third party exclusive. they need to realize that games like these can get them out of their money issues and sell systems, but i guess money up from and right now is their only concern. its gonna hurt a bit in the long run. your just feeding into M$'s success and keeping them on top

I can understand that but multi-plats will suffer from things such as Disc Size and which system they use to program it. Think of things that have to reduce from games so they can fit on a single DVD disc and think about the missed potential since games are being programmed on 360.

I'm not a sony fan or rather any fan of a system for that matter but one of the main reasons i get Playstations is for FF games. Now to hear that one of the major reasons i got a PS3 for is now Multiplat. Just ticks me off since Nomura(Versus) and Toriyama have said for the past 2 years that the PS3 version is the only version in development. Its a good business decision but it just ticks me off that they lied for the past 2 years. O well at least the PS3 still gets it. Hopefully at Sony's conference they'll announce that PS3 is getting SO4.

People are forgetting consoles have HD now. Just install the game.
