ive had m ps3 since launch day here in the uk but have yet to go online with it how much am i missing out just not got around to it i guess. and wired or wireless any feedback from uk uses welcome but all please tell me what u think.:D
Wireless can cause you to lag, but it's due to the nature of wireless. Wired is better since it's more of a direct connection with no interference. Still, I've been playing and downloading wirelessly recently just fine.
eh im more of an old school gamer i personally dont play online very much i just play single player mode.. and for multiplayer i just call a few friends over and play against each other. i rarely play online. i think last time i played online was like 6 months ago with resistance :P but yeah i dont think ur missingh much at least i dont think so... my two cents :roll:

Thats not true. I have been playing wirelessly on Xbox, Xbox 360, PS3 and on my laptop for years and I have never had intergerence, ever. Wireless is just as good is direct connect.
I think online is just an added bonus for many great games, but Its a whole lot of fun and tottaly worth setting it up. and wireless is the way to go for me, easy enough to etup, and pretty much no lag what so ever
one thing that has been pissing me off lately is that online play makes or breaks a game's score on some websites. I think games should be rated on graphics, sound, and gameplay/story online should just be frosting on the cake...
Although the main downloads and friends thing is simple and not impressive... it's free and waiting until home is released to shine. As far as the PS3's network capabilities, it's amazing! 40 player in Resistance, 32 player Warhawk, 12 player Motorstorm ALL WITH NO LAG! It amazes me, how good it is.
You are missing out on updates, which arn't essential but are nice. Stuff like themes, DivX support, being able to eject discs using the controller etc.

i can already eject using the controller us uk gamers only got the 60gig at launch and u could already do that u see:D
For me multiplayer is what games are all about whether it is online or split screen but currently I don't have any friends that live near bye:cry:so yeah online is where it's at for me and you can play with so many more people!
