Not receiving email to change PSN password

I updated my PS3 and it says a message has been sent to my email on how to change my password, but 15 minutes later, I still haven't got that email. Did anyone else have to wait a long time to get it?

Few people have said they had to wait about 3 hours...so, you might be better off doing something else for a while.

cant wait finishing job going home and connect to PSN, and i will check about the e-mail notification

You don't have to change it by email. When I signed on using my ps3 it prompted me to change it.

So when you go to login to your PSN account on your ps3 system you change your password cause I haven't done it yet cause I'm thinking of waiting a few days since I was thinking the newtork may be a little slow since with everyone downloading the new update.

Went smooth like butter,asked for the new password after installation.But the Playstation store is still unoperational :?

Going to have to buy a new game tomorrow since rain is in the forecast all week............:?

You change your email (password) on the console (at least that's what I did this A.M.). A couple minutes after, I received an email as confirmation of the change.shaunchgo
