Did you get the disc?
It's good if you haven't played GTA4 to the end. If you have, prepare for boredom.
It's just a new mission arc and a few new guns & things. It didn't add anything exciting.
I hope that they aren't still charging $20 for the download; should've been $10 and even that is pushing it when you compare it to a Borderlands or Fallout dlc.
You probably should've played L&D before BoGT.
BoGT is the gta game GTA4 should've been and after playing with all the cool stuff they added in it, I can't go back to the original or L&D.
But if you're enjoying the storyline, it's worth playing through to see everything tied up.
I loved it, I finished GTA4 then immediately satarted playing Lost and the damned and loved it all the way through still need to complete ballad of gay tony though :S but I thought Lost and the damned was fairly short but not too short :)i just started playin it last night guys, is it a good game? how long is the singeplayer story? il be playing this till i buy batman arkham city

I wish GTA4 had been this (theme) biker gangs and all, annnnnd to include desert, like what San Andreas did, being a north american state, not a city. I loved and miss dearly the rural areas betwen cities. I wish GTA5 would be like this running away from town to town getting hideouts in the middle of no where, San Andreas is still one of my all time favorites if not The favorite.i just started playin it last night guys, is it a good game? how long is the singeplayer story? il be playing this till i buy batman arkham city

That was my problem with the gta4 dlc: for $20 they should've added rural areas... any sort of new areas. $20 is expensive for a mission pack.

I just like to think I helped support them in making GTA5 a kickas$ game. Hell even Vice City is still more fun to play than GTA IV; to me at least.[QUOTE="Srenjy"]San Andreas is still one of my all time favorites if not The favorite.Kane04Lol...I think it's safe to say San Andreas is everyone's favorite out of the series. Let's just hope Rockstar gets the hint and incorporates this in GTA5.

My fear is how much are we going to end up paying for something as big as San Andreas? They already charged people $20 for mission packs. I imagine the next San Andreas is going to cost $60 for the first island and then $30-40 for each of the other two islands.
San Andreas is one of my all time favorite games but I wouldn't have paid $150 for it.

That money just goes into padding the pockets of the board members. All it really contributes to on our end is how many different portions they're going to split gta5 into and how much they're going to charge us for them.

You're being overly paranoid about that. They're not going t split GTA5 into pieces and make us pay separately for them. No body would buy the game if they did that. They didn't do that with GTA IV. We didn't have to pay to get all the other islands in GTA IV, only for mission packs that weren't part of the main story. They wouldn't make us pay to get more content that was part of the main story. That would be absolutely stupid on Rockstar's end, and they're not like that.[QUOTE="LeifLongbottom"][QUOTE="MC-Reap"] I just like to think I helped support them in making GTA5 a kickas$ game. All they're going toneed to do is convince gamers (and that wont be too hard) that the first island is a whole game and that the other two are supplementary. Gamers will eat that up... always do. Then they're going to get these same gamers to rave about how the $40 expansions are like whole 'nother games for $40 - they were trying to convince us of that with their $20 mission packs.
The fact of the matter is that we will never again see a game that is as big as San Andreas at launch for the regular price...not when there are so many willing to pay so much for so little.
And unfortunately, when people tell me that I'm being paranoid, I usually just end up being right. I was saying that they were going to do something like online pass long before they started doing that; I even gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed that they would give renters/used buyers a sample of online.
I was apparently paranoid when I assumed that sony would ditch otheros at the first sign of trouble.
I was apparently paranoid when I assumed that pre-order bonus dlc would eventually become gameplay content.
It seems like all the crappy ideas that the game insudatry has start out as my "paranoid delusions."
I'm starting to get a Cassandra Complex.
