you can keep them and use them when playin older nonrumble games, trade them in to help pay for the new one, keep them for freinds/family to use for multiplayer games
I hope at least Gamestop/EBGame and any other used game store will have specials to cater for this, which would benefit them in terms of stock for the casual PS3 owners who just want extra controllers. Possibly, two Sixaxis for one Dualshock 3 controller? Or at least a discount towards a purchase of the Dualshock 3.
when u guys had ur ps1's.. did u guys seriously sold all your regular controllers when dual shock came out..? geez.. i mean, dual is tight and all just buy as many as u want.. but you guys make it seem like the SIXAXIS is rendered useless.. and i probably bet SIXAXIS is way lighter than the DShock3.. maybe for that reason i'll keep it? i dunno i don't see why u guys should trash it..

I'm using one of my sixaxis controllers right now to play roms on my computer. Works great! Just have to keep the usb cable plugged in on it for now until i can get the bluetooth to pair and work.
Well I have two controllers already and unless there is a trade in deal I'm keeping mine. I might buy a duelshock but I'm not exactly dying to get one.
Hmm, well I'll see how much the new controllers cost. RIght now, i don't really need more than one controller, and if i did want a new sixaxis, it would be another $40, will is an ok price, I can deal with that. Anything too much over that, I'm not sure i'll pay for an extra controller.
who cares about rumble. whe nare they going to update the 12 year old controller that squeakes and flexes when you move your hands around, or in opposit directions. feels so cheap. love the system though.
