o no not a new xbox

well i was reading the article on gamespot for the new xbox, and i am just about to buy a ps3. I WAS wondering how long after would we see the ps4 news and if it is worth to buy a ps3 now. I also dont think i would want to go for a ps4- $600 kinda thing. So will sony move down the price this time or should i just buy a ps3 with kz3 and then wait a year or 2 after ps4 realease and then buy the ps4. if i do this this should buy me how much time since now and ps4 release?

id buy a ps3 now its cheaper than back then and online is free, you can wait but im pretty sure there are still potential in the current consoles today, a new console will introduce something entirely new and you might not use it to its potential because of pricing

I have a 360, it will be my last M$ console.

If you want a system that is going to give you 10's of thousands of hours of enjoyment, then go with the PS3. Sony is not going to put out their 'next gen' console any time soon. Why would they? Great library, HD collections, Bluray, and free online.

M$ knows that they don't have a chance anymore this gen, so they are throwing in the towel and starting over, again. All support for the 360 will end when the new one launches, if history repeats itself.

The PS3 started slow, very slow. But, there's nothing stopping it now. Everyone knows it.

There is always going to be new tech, why wait for something that may or may not release in 1-3 years when you can get a solid gaming machine now?:D

yea most likely since it takes a while to develop a "next gen console." I don't see why sony would start yet with the hardware advtages it has already on xbox and the many exclusive comming out for sony this year. They might start planning next year for the PS4
