I finished the elven maiden quest and it says to wait til the next midnight and ive waited 3 days and he still hasnt appeared :( anyone know about this and had him reappear?
Always make a backup save, dude. Is Armond the Thieve's Guild leader? I've never had him not show up. Are you in the Waterfront? Have you already seen him appear before? He should come out in a fenced enclosure outside the walls of the Waterfront behind some houses.
I had the same problem but I eventually found him standing next to the door to the imperial trading company in the waterfront distract. It was in the middle of the day. I just stumbled upon him by chance. After you talk to him he promotes you to a bandit in the thieves guild. Hope this helps!
Go to his house (if you are looking at where Armand usually stands, turn 180 degrees and go straight past the stairs and his is the second house from the right in front of you) and see if he is in there, if he is he should be there that night at midnight, if he isn't you may be screwed.

I did it when I played on the "other" system, it was beneficial only after a couple of days of not feeding because of the abilities and such that it gave you. It made playing some quests harder (or depending on how long you've gone without feeding being denied quests) but you can always feed and be out in the daylight...just not for more than 24 hours.
