Oblivion: Gems

I think you can steal some from the Mage's Guild in Imperial City.

I know duping stolen items doesn't work but perhaps you could find some way to remove the stolen status from the item and then try duping it then.

just got Vampirism ....so now i just saw the lady by the river south of Cherydil where a count had sent me to, and she said she'll cure my vampirism if i find 4 Grand Soul Gems...where can i optain these gems?HoVDaHuSTLa1

can't you just cure vampire status in a church?

i tried but all i get is messages like "You Sinner!!!"

can't you just cure vampire status in a church?

you can when you contract the disease that causes you to turn into a vampire, but you only have I think 3 days to cure it. When you officially become a vampire more drastic steps have to be taken.

i cloned a grand soul gem.. its pretty hard to find them, if you've got the cash you can usualy just buy them from the various traders.americahellyeah

yeh ive gone about a whole week (oblivion days) as a vamp...so now my only options are those damn gems..i cant find them anywhere...still no suggestions guys?HoVDaHuSTLa1

Go to Mage's guilds in different cities.  Mage's there will have some for sale.

Melisande (the lady who can cure you of vampirism, and the one asking you to bring her five grand soul gems) has one in her basement.........look there.

can you please specify what kind of potion...and where can i get it ...the oblivion world is huge, none the less the 20000 potion possibilities..

while in your item screen press x twice on a magic scroll you have 2 of.

then go to the item you want to clone and press square, iff you did it right when you exit your menu the item will hit the ground and there will be 2 of it, it doesn't work with a few swords and item but for about 95% of things in the game it works, oh and it won't work unless you only have one of the item your trying to clone.

If I remember correctly, if you went through the quests and became the Head Mage (or whatever title it is) of the Mage' Guild, you can put the Grand Soul Gem you have in the chest box and after a month it will multiple (one of the advantages of being the Head Mage).

There is no potion to cure vampy besides the one melisand (vampy cure quest) makes for you and the other person. However there is one problem with having vampy but it rarely occurs but it happened to me so. Anyways the lady takes all the items but the bloodgrass and will not take it in my game. It is a well known glitch for the game but it might have happened from switching from reg oblivion to the GOTY for Shivering Isles. turning into a vampire more or less ruined my 1s playthrough...on my second play through i levelled up my mag skills very quickly and made a spell to cure all diseases =)....as soon as i se the vampire mesage...i just cast my spell! lol...i think there are some grandsoul gems in alchemy shop in imperial city.

Well luckily I got one of the 60gb launch models although I paid around $700US for it ouch but oblivion was one of my first games besides RFoM.
