Oblivion Help!

In The Caught in the Hunt mission (The one where the woman's husband is missing and the Orc booky is holding him)

Does anyone know how to open the gate at Fort Grief to get the axe?

I have no idea what quest that is....damn...

 and btw it is spelled "Oblivion"

iv been stuck on that mission for a looong time. i even bought the guide but that didnt tell me anything.ZarBlayda

there is a switch to the right of the gate.

looks a little like an anvil.
