Oblivion looks great! Is it like a GTA game?

I know Oblivion is like a knights and mythical type of game but I recently found out that it is open world. They say the world is huge even bigger than San Andreas. So does the game have as much, If not more, freedom than GTA or is it more story driven?

i love oblivion but i never play it and i never even touched the 2nd expansion, which is really the 1st. i have the pc version. great game and great presentation but the gameplay cant hold me for five mins.

btw, you might like a game called morrowind. lots and lots of mods available for it and your computer will most likely run it no problem if its not 8 yrs old.

I was considering to buy Oblivion, but now when i get to know there is no hookers its kinda disappointing :(
