Oblivion Problems?

anybody else having glitchy issues with Oblivion on PS3?  So far since playing it, for about 3 hours, twice it's made a really REALLY loud screech, and froze up.  Both times in battle.  And 4 or 5 times now, the controller has quit on me but my character just keeps walking?  Someone was talking about that a little earlier, with God of War 2, where Kratos was suicidal.  Well, my guy just keeps on walking right into a wall, or in circles for about 20 seconds and i get controls back.  Anybody else experiencing any of this supernatural gameplay?

I've got this weird problem which i don't know how to fix. I've just about finished the thieves guild and i need to raise 1000gold through the highest fence, now the problem is I cant sell him the stolen items to raise up to the 1000gold. I thought that i might have already passed the 1000gold mark and I tried just going straight to the messenger to tell me the details on where to next meet the Grey Fox and all he says is "Hey I've got a message for you" then he just looks at me without saying anything more. I have tried getting banned from the thieves guild and re-entering but all that brings is a 500gold fine. If this has happened to anyone else that can help me then please do I've been stuck on this for weeks now. Thanks

i had this problem to when he finally lets you buy things he sits on the chest in back of his house around midnight. it took me forever to get me to fence with him if you didn't do the mission **** SPOILERS where you reunite the brothers in chorrel and do the other missions for them the fencer tries to buy something from you and if you don't he doesn't talk to you no more **** but i still use the one in bruma because he is easy to find

i have this too it pisses me off a lot it would start screeching sometimes pausing it would stop it or freeze it but i haven't have it walk around for me maybe its your controller the left stick gets stuck because sometimes does
