No it doesn't. That's a great score for a great game.
Oblivion isn't for everyone. I played it about 30 hours or so and found it to be fairly mediocre personally. I don't have the time to invest 200-400 hours into oblivion when really, better and shorter RPGs exist out there.
Are people going to start crying that IGN gave the PS3 version 9.2 when they gave the 360 versions a 9.3?....jdt532
Probably, especially since they said it was better than the 360 version in some ways (graphics, load times), but was missing some downloadable content). That being said... -0.1 a year later is understandable in my opinion.
And why does it "suck" if I may ask..? Read my other thread. It's boring, slow paced, the combat is button mashing, environments are beautiful but empty...this list goes on and on. You tell me how leaving a town, exploring the countryside, finding a cave, exploring it for an hour, finding nothing but unpickable locked doors, and fighting 3 enemies in an hours time is an engaging, memorable gaming experience.

Itsn't that what they gave resistance? If so the why s Oblivion getting only a 9.2? Really, everyone with even the slightest interest in rpg, free raoming or adventure games should buy thins now, goty for 2006 imo

That is why save systems exist. You don't have to play 100 straight hours of Oblivion. You can take as long as you would like to finish it. No pressure.
