Oddest "next-gen" game design

Alright, here goes again apparently my last topic was a "system wars" topic although it wasn't supposed to be one so we'll try starting one again and hope I can avoid "complaints".

Anywho, so I was wondering how many people have played a next-gen game on their PS3 (there does that satisfy the allowed to post on this forum requs) and thought.... hmm that wasn't really next gen...

My example is Marvel Ulimate Alliance. I liked that game, but it didn't really strike me as next-gen. Sure it had prettier graphics, cleaner lines, but I kept wondering if I was actually playing my PS3. On a second note what do you guys think should be the defining characteristics of a "next-gen" PS3 game? I personally think warhawk and resistance capture a good "next-gen" feel with an immersive feel, responsive controls, and those little touches that just weren't possible on my PS2.

alot of games so far havent really been next gen, besides the visuals we still done the things we've been doing for years. LittleBigPlanet is a truly unique game that I am very much looking forward to. Also Infamous looks awesome(from the limited amount we've seen)They appear to be doing alot of cool new things.Shinedown220

Oh yeah I will admit that I am fairly excited about LittleBigPlanet.... I still have the original trailer on my PS3 and play it every now and then just for a pick me up (laugh).
