How-to :

1. You need to download and install the 1.9 update.

2. This point is up to you, you can use memory sticks to transfer pics from your pc to the PS3 or just use your PS3's browser to get pics.

3.When you have a nic picture and wanna use it as wallpaper, just click on it and press (Triangle), you'll see a menu, just go to where it says "Set as wallpaper", and you are done...

I have an HDTV ._. only 34" though, connected with HDMI, it looks good anyways ... I'm going to upload some 1080x720 and 1960x1080 pics later.

this...on SD :( soon to have an HD tho...

Are you using HDMI or component? If so, you only need HQ pictures.

make sure yyou find a large picture with a high resolution if its to low when you make it fit the screen it looks like s***, so go to google and search for large images or even medium and find the largest you can with the highest resolution, then when you set the image as the wallpaper you can make it fill the screen a little more which will help it look alittle better.

You can save it directly from the PS3's browser, you just have to put the mouse on cursor on top of the pic and go to options (Triangle) and save it.

yes just use the browser fidn a pic u want hit the triangle button and hit save image, then you can set that pic as your wallpaper from your hard drive
