i have a 40'' samsung and their quality is amazing. Now my HDMI cable best come in today or Im going to be angry if I have to wait until Monday grrr!

It's a Samsung 23" HDTV LN-S2338 it has HDMI and it works awesome with the PS3. and it matches too!! Cost me 375$ on Ebay.

That's ok. I have a Sharp HDTV and a Samsung computer LDC. Although the Sony XRB2 look great. The new Sharps look better.

no not a user it's a company called AuctionDrop. Just search LN-S2338W for the exactly same model TV I have, cheers.

I disagree because although HD TV's do make PS3 games look better its not a make or break situation.

PS3 will look awesome in SD TV too.

You don't HD, but damn it sure makes a difference, especially in the big screen territory! I got a 56" JVC HD-ILA and I never want to go back to SD!

That is horrible advice.  I imagine everyone is going to be buying a new TV in the next 1-10 years and when they do the PS3 is going to look awesome on it. In the meantime it still looks great on regular TV too.

Wow, my tv does 1080i, and it's fuzzy compared to that picture. I think I'm gonna give up on the big 55" and get something in a 36".

Yeah, it still looks good, but nothing compared to HD. I was lucky enough to get an HD TV before my PS3 purchase. My original plan was PS3 first and an HD TV later. I'm glad it turned out this way. PS3 on a 55" Sony LCD using HDMI is fantastic. I can't go back to SD TV ever again.

I played my ps3 on a 14" SDTV for about a month, it still looked amazing, and I'd never say only get a ps3 if you have a HDTV.
I have a HDTV now and it's fantastic, the difference is definately there.

Thats dumb:P cause the picture is very good on an sdtv 3 if im not wrong.. just like the 360 on an SDtv.... i rather get a ps3 with sdtv than an hd tv with no ps3.:P

hell yeah man congrats on ur HDTV. although I agree with some others that 23in is way to small for me to play on. i have a 32in WS HDTV and am thinking of upgrading to a larger set.

I'm purchasing a 60gb PS3 today, I really want some form of HDTV to go along with it though. XDAFK4Lifez

Whenever you get your HD make sure it has a good contrast ratio.  That's probably the most important thing if you are buying a LCD.  Make it at least 1200:1 .  I myself purchased a Samsung LCD with contrast ratio 4000:1 and looks fantastic.  I just wish LCDs had the deeper blacks and wider viewing angle that Plasmas have though.  If your getting a bigger set get a newer Plasma cuz of the picture quality and no chance of burn in.
