ok i finally bought call of duty 4 but on the 360 then i .......................

ok here is the situation last year when ps3 launched i decided to get cod 3 and the game it self was good but the online was the worst experience i ever had with any game system connecting to other people, hosts, etc. it would only let me connect to a 5 star game that was very low with competitors in the online game. every once in awhile it would work awesome no probs. so this nov 5th i went to eb and asked if they had cod4 and all day till i walked into the store to buy i was contemplating should i get it for the 360 which never left me down that much or take a chance on getting it on ps3 and pray they fixed the connection problems. well i asked for the ps3 they didn't have it so i bought the 360 one. then i went four miles to another eb and thought well i wonder if they might have the ps3 version ill just trade it in new for new. nope they didn't have one either did another eb store 2 miles away from that store. (yes i know your thinking WHAT YOU HAVE 3 EB GAMES WITH IN A TOTAL OF6 MILE uh yep) OK so i decided to go home and i was gonna deal with keeping the 360 version. well i got home and decided to wait and check online all the ps3 sites to look for anyone having cod4 online horror stories. i didn't find any at all. well i checked all night and the next day (nov6 normal launch day) was still looking for any connection errors etc . well at 8:45pm at night i found only one person moaning about ps3 cod4 online play and his problem was he couldn't host his own game. well i called best buy at 9pm and asked if they had ps3 version and they said yes 25 copies. well i jumped in my truck and went there bought the ps3 cod4 and am returning the 360 version back to eb. well i got it home and yes I'm sorry to say i went straight for the online play and wow it has the same look and feel as 360's on-line version well there beta of it. ps3 connected without a hitch been playing online part for at-least 15 games without any connection errors. only gripe is it take awhile to find a match but when it does it was smooth no laggys no jaggys. perfect. so hey anyone wanna buy my 360 copy of cod 4 for target practice let me know :)

Agreed, I think you need to start doing more productive things with your many many free hours. Painting maybe?

yea and southern california is probably more saturated with Eb games and gamestops. i can think of one area with 4 within a mile of eachoter, 2 in the same mall, one across the street, another down the street, they are everywhere, and are all equally as badthageneral3

Hey buddy, I really need your help on this :

You see, I'm kinda stressed up because I just ordered the game on PlayStation 3 instead of Xbox 360 (just like you) but I am so frickin' afraid of the controls of the Sixaxis ! I am just so scared to be disapointed (especially when I paid about $90 the game, yeah I know ... that's the cost if you live in Japan for Import PS3 Games ...)with the controls because I've only been playing the Beta on Xbox 360 so ... Well here's me question :

Could you tell me honestly how do you find the controls on PS3 ? are they Good ? Great or nearly prefect ? Because, I've just played TimeShift Demo, and it had the crappiest gameplay on a FPS ever ... So if they are not good, i'm gunna have to cancel my order, buy it on Xbox 360, but you know, paying Gold Live Fees for a game doesn't make me happy ...

EDIT : I forgot you but, the reason i'm scared is that I didn't touched a Sixaxis since July, i've been on Xbox, that's why i'm getting paranoïak on PS3 controls

maybe he wanted to see if there the same he bought the 360 ver cause he tought the ps3 ver would have online problems he saw that some one had problems on 360 and no problems on ps3 so he returned it and got the ps3 version its not very hard to read try it

he bought the 360 version and then right after he bought it he tried to trade it in for the ps3 version with out even playing the 360 version, how does that make any sense? and its not very hard to use proper grammar either... try it
