Burnout Legends is good, you can spend hours just playing random raod rage games, its sooo fun.
Also ATV Offroad Fury Blazin' Trails is a good game for length, there are plenty of tracks and a lot of them are incredibly difficult so give you a lot of play time.
Tekken lasts a long time if you complete everything, it can take many hours just to get 1 character to the highest rank, to master all of them would take forever.
Is Monster Hunter PSP just a port of Monster Hunter PS2? I heard here that it's a hard game but is that because the controls suck or do you just die alot and you have to replay a bunch of levels? I dont have a PSP (yuck, gross, puke) but I do have a PS2...titanium2108

DBZ: Shin Budokai is a great fighting game with a deep combo's system. It would probably take about 20 hours to beat the entire game - story mode, challange modes, time attack mode, survival mode, etc. And since it's so much fun you'll probably at least play a fight before you go to bed every night. It's what I do.
Twisted Metal, Burnout Legends, GTA (either of them).

GTA Liberty/Vice City Stories
Final Fantasy Tactics
Burnout Legends
Disgaea
Monster Hunter
Sid Meier's PiratesLionheart08
yeah i rented Vice city stories, and it is a long game. I think im up to 5% and i've played for a few hours.
I wonder if guitar hero is the most fun or rock band?

Go away man they are not making ether of those games for psp.
I got god of war the other day and in two day's time I was thgough the campaign. I really need a long portable game that is worth its money, which one should I get???? thanx5telio5
I kept warning and warning people. Everybody kept praising God of War though. Sorry you blew 40$. That game shouldn't have gotten that high of a score.
Final Fantasy Crisis Core will last you a while. All the RPG's listed in this thread are very good.
Crisis Cores story on easy is at least 20 hours long, not including the hundreds of side missions. If you do all the side missions it will probably add on 10 - 15 more hours._MattRising
No offense, but Normal is for pu***s. You kill most enemies in a few hits, and the enemies are a joke. Hard is way better and you can see the game as a challenging thing, which will also take you a bit longer, since every monster and boss (missions are affected by diff level) will have 3-5 times their stats increased, including HP.
Get Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth. If you never played the original on the PSone, you owe it to yourself to play the port. They re-did the cutscenes, but otherwise the game is pretty much untouched. You can easily spend 40 hours on normal mode if you make sure to use all you time wisely.
Or get Lumines. There's no campaign mode or anything, but you quickly become addicted and play for long periods of time. I've had the game since its release and still pull it out to play it sometimes.

final fantasy: crisis core in hard mode (don't be a pu5sy)
lonesomefolly
totally lol I didn't even try normal mode after hearing all the reviews about how EASY it was. I have to say, hard mode is epic. You have to block, roll, use strategy; its not hack and slash at all. Fscking epic! Truly SOLDIER fights.
I'm going to second anyone who said Monster Hunter and Disgaea. Both are decent games and, if you like them, can be 100+ hours.

GOW:COO is a great game, anyone that doesn't take the time to check the game out online before buying it deserves to be disappointed by the game length.

Its just 2 hours shorter than its big brothers, but it has all the same extra content, which can add more hours depending how much challenge you want.

those missions are kind of cool if you are someplaces where you can't pay attention to the plot or enjoy the cutscenes but you still wanna play.

My problem with this game is you have to get to a save point to save it. Sometimes i don't have alot of time to play and i want to listen to music but i can't if i don't get to a save point. I think every game for every portable system ought to have a save option for use at any time. Set it up like in FFTAdvance where it deletes when you load it if that is the concern.
I'd go with FFT, even metal gear acid2 lasted me awhile.
I would'nt say crisis core. To me most of the combat can win by just button smashing plus curaga plus a good materia. U can pretty beat the game easily, not much of a challenge to me.legend2402
go back and play it in hard
Chains of Olympus was kind of short. But they did fill the UMD disc to maximum capacity. Maybe they just couldn't add anything else onto it? I beat it on normal in about 7 hours, playing for about 20 to 30 minutes each day. With games like that you have to pace your play. I'll probably start it again on god mode after I'm done with Crush.
About long games: Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories can easily kill 25+ hours of your time.AgentAika
Thats what I'm talking about. I went and got GTA LCS the other day. Untold legends is a long game but it gets boring after a while. I might start over with a different character ****
