Ok now that warhawk has been out for a bit, what are your impressions?

For me, I think overall It has gotten old and kinda disapointing.

The core gameplay is great, and I do enjoy that if i got 20 minutes to kill 18 minutes of that can be spent flying around shooting ppl, but I think the longevity of the game is really short because of a few key things....

there is no team work, unless your playing with a friend whos sitting by you, no one cares, every one is just flying around with there heads chopped off. There is no voice chat at all, (and when there is its very bad quality), so while flying around doing your own thing is fun, It feels like im playing computer bots for all I care.

the balancing, now they did a great job of making no matter what your doing (wether it be ground, vehicle or warhawk) be equal, but thats lame, how is a personal sized rocket launcher better then the default rockets that come on a warhawk, or why do the best players when on ground combat just nade nade knife, or nade nade then a couple shots, there is no skill needed for shooting. Also, how can a warhawk have such trouble killing a ground trooper by him self, he takes just as much damage as a vehicle but is 10x harder to hit. It really takes away from the some realizim the game has.

those are the 2 main things that are just killing the game for me

I feel the same way with ur first problem. I started getting bord after a week and a half.

I stoppped because, i kept on d/c, and that my teammates are total retards.

All iv been playing so far is, Resistance (Becasue HALO 3 got me in the mood).

I notice a lot of people don't talk. but i bet most people are just sitting there with a mic and not talking only because no one else is. Every game i play i ask if anyone is there just to get things going. Sometimes the quality is pretty horrible though

The balance is the best thing about this game.. I hate when people just rush for the rocket launcher in every other shooter because its just a one hit easy kill. In this game you always have a chance.

I stopped playing for 2 weeks cause of rank issues, but things are being fixed and i love it all over again.

i still think its awesome

the mics bug me a lot. if the quality was improved i could actually understand my team and form tactics so people can understand them.

a tip about the warhawk problem. get really low to the ground and use swarm missles. taking about people isnt that hard once you get a knak for it (for me at least)

I think that it is a great game which many consumers can like. Though some things do tend to get in the way of the fun, the good out-weighs the bad imo.

Somethings that I dont like about the game rightnow are Ranking, Voice Chat, Connection into a server, and above allignorant players online. If you take out all of those things this is a great game with amazing online gameplay.

If you own a ps3 this is a must online game right now, this is where the community is at right now. If only they could liven it up with Downloadable Content, that'd be great.
