Ok why is the 360 getting all the classic PS only games???

Resident Evil 5, GTA IV and Devil May Cry 4 just to name a few. Long Playstation exclusives are now being released for the Xbox 360 and it's pissing me off. It seems like all the developers care about is to make extra money instead of help a new console reach glory with great exclusives. The PS3 does not have a good line up of exclusives to this date still. Warhawk, Uncharted and Heavenly Sword is really the only decent titles I can think of. Sure there's others but they aren't so great. (Good titles such as Metal Gear 4 and Gran Turismo 5 are in the works yes, but as of right now there's little good out for PS3 only) So if these companies made exclusives why can't the developers of timeless games like the ones I mentioned in my first sentence step up to the plate and help our new console grow? If they do it will eventually rise to an even bigger gamer base and then they can get their extra money. PS3 has sold almost 11 million units already so what's the problem? I'm not saying there aren't good games for the PS3, there are, but they are on the 360 as well. Why is the 360 getting all our good titles too now? And we get what back? Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Saint's Row 2? It's a shame.

And I say if the 360 is getting all this from the Playstation realm then we sure as **** deserve Ninja Gaiden 2 for our systems! Just my opinion :)

It's not like nintendo or microsoft did not lose any IP to PS. To put it simply, PS3 is in a bad situation because of the development time and not handing out cash if a publisher stays. Microsoft on the other hand was uncle saming everybody if title has "exclusive" moniker. It's hard to stay exclusive on PS for this gen with limited user base and no incentive...

Bad strategy on Sony's part I'd say. They should have gone MS route until they come out ahead, then they don't need the incentive anymore as developing for PS3 will be at much lower risk.

80% of those games aren't even out, smarty pants. And the countless lines of NBA 07 08 09 and NHL 07 08 09 and MLB and NFL, all those 07 08 09's are all 1 game, they are all the same just minor improvements over last years.

NG2 will never come, as it is being published by Microsoft, not Tecmo.

As far as multi-platform, yeah you got it right, companies want money. Game developing is just very expensive now at days, so most developers (like Capcom, who has already stated they'll be doing multi only on their big games) are gonna want to recoup as much as possible. And unlike the PS2, which has sold a bazillion consoles, enough for developers to recover with just publishing for them, PS3 is not quite there yet.

ng2 might , but microsoft studios are funding mass effect 2 and 3
