Okay I take back my words. It is not easy.

Okay I thought Uncharted Crushing was not gonna be THAT hard. Because Hard mode was not hard at all.

Well I'm off, completely.

It starts quite easy.

Then... well I've tried this set piece about 25-30 times and there's nothing doing (Chapter 4, where the plane is wrecked, second wave after you exit the plan in the tree. I know, I s***).

Anywa, is there any clue or tip to go through that? Or I just have to give up the platinum (only trophy missing) for the sake of my mental health?

It's a great game, though, I enjoyed it. (well through normal and Hard).

I thought it was fairly similar to hard mode, is not easy some firefights are tough and take a couple of tries but not THAT hard imo, I beat it 2 times on crushing mode.

I thought hard mode wasn't that different from crushing mode,

I already have the Uncharted Platinum trophy :D

And well my only tip is, try the shoot all the pirates on the head, that would make it easier

It's called crushing for a reason all right. Beating Uncharted on crushing can be more of a test of patience than one of skill at times. I personally enjoyed how hard it was to beat the game on crushing but ya, it'll give your patience a run for your money sometimes. Just take a break from it for awhile, then give it a go and see how you fare against it later. If it really starts to get on your nerves, it's only a trophy right, and not that big a deal in the end anyways.

And wait till you get in the room that is half flooded, that one its hard

I never finished it on crushing. It just started to piss me off and it's not worth the trouble to me.

Just take a break from it for awhile, then give it a go and see how you fare against it later. If it really starts to get on your nerves, it's only a trophy right, and not that big a deal in the end anyways.joseph_mach

If you go all the way to your right after you get out of the plane (I think its right, but towards the directions of the gate which are later blown open) there are two boxes for cover tucked in a corner. Hide behind those, waiting for the guys to charge you, and just blind fire to kill them. This is what worked on that part for me. Oh, and for the flooded room, don't drop down. All you have to do is right before dropping down, backtrack all the way back to the entrance of that cave/tunnel (where the truck is in the sunlight). Then go back, don't drop down, but all the guys will start spawning and you can pick most of them off from there.

Hope I helped, this is just what worked for me. Also, I hope I was clear enough. If I wasn't, there are plently of videos which demonstrate these strategies.

That's the only part that I had a bit of trouble with.

Some people say "Oh man crushing was easy, I was eating and reading a book while playing it and I beat it like 10x blah blah" well its bull and those people give some horrible advice. "Aim for the head and use cover" is pretty obvious. You might as well say "just kill everything and don't die, its that easy."

What you may want to hear instead are things like: Don't be afraid to fall back to better cover. Keep another cover spot near by so if you need to, you can fall back. Don't try to melee at all. Keep your distance and use the pistol as much as you can, automatics arn't your friend. Its easier to get headshots if you blind fire and hit them, then pop up for a headshot while they are stunned. Use gernades to blow up the enemies cover and shoot them while they run from it.

Here are some video's to help! And above all, don't give up! If we can do it, so can you. It just takes time. Good luck!

The game is a good challenge but not insane like Killzone 2 Elite. Crushing is awesome because you can't just stay in one spot like with the other difficulties. Basically move fast between covers and be aware of where your enemies are. So with the flooded area because they some times change the places the enemies spawn from, I would need to quickly take out guys and just RUN! After coming out of the plane its tough because you know you are screwed if they get close enough to you. You can try staying behind cover with a shot gun but you most likely won't have enough ammo for everyone.

That dude in the vid doesnt even take cover where I'm having trouble, he stays behind the right pillar and positions himself so he can't shoot them without them being able to shoot him.

I'll probably try it a bit later. I'm just extremely pissed because I tried 25-30 times, and that is not an exaggeration.

My other question, after you defeat the first wave coming from "behind", there's another wave coming from "up front" (from the game's point of view). Is there a checkpoint between the waves?

Thank you all for your comments, except if you just wrote and said "Oh I got the plat aight, ain't that hard" which, you'd agree, isn't helpful.

Oh and Killzone 2 is way too hard for me to try even on Veteran, but I'm getting all right on MP, at least I have as many kills as deaths now, even more sometimes. (I feel like I suck at every FPS since GoldenEye...)
