Old but Good PS3 games?

I'm looking to buy cheap games (which is why a lot will be old :P) for the PS3.

I'm looking towards buying AC 1&2. Any other games you think I would like?

Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2 are both good choices if you like FPS.The latter of the two includes an 8 player co-op mode, which is actually still fairly active.

Folklore is an interesting one that's well worth taking a look at too.

I would also recommend picking up Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Great fun if you're looking for game offering a solid challenge.

Killzone 2 is a great one

I just remembered Valkyria Chronicles. :P Probably one of the best JRPG's available on the platform. It quickly became one of those elusive, ultra-rare titles only a few months following its release, but it should be easy to find a copy for a good price online.

Hold out on asking for Mass Effect 2 my man, the series is better played starting from 1. If you have an Xbox you should play those games on that.

I recommend holding out for this Trilogy Pack Looks like the first game is coming to PS3.

Heavently Sword is not a must have, unless it's to chronicle how far the system has come along. It was an okay LAUNCH title at best, buoyed by the fact that there's virtually no competition to speak of.

My vote goes to Folklore.
