Old franchises you'd like to see on PS3

I, for one, would love to see some of old but good classics revamped for the PS3, just to see how far it could be taken...given they were great on 2D, if possibly done right, I'd love to see the following:

Flashback (that cool game where you figure out who you are, on Genesis/SNES)

Streets of Rage (was in early development for Dreamcast, let's bring it back)

Altered Beast

Battletoads

Double Dragon

Haunting (a little known Genesis game were you posses things in a family's house and scare the crap out of them)

Road Rash (Can't believe this one skipped even last gen)

Starflight (another lil known gem from EA's early days, space exploration game)

Splatterhouse! (First console game to carry a warning label)

Skate or Die (let's face it, it would be a nice change from Tony Hawk)

Startropics (Loved this RPG!  Played like Zelda, but with a nice twist.)

Uninvited (Old NES point-and-click adventure, pretty freaky)

Maniac Mansion

Boogerman (my mother actually tried banning me from playing this game way back when, lol)

E.V.O. Search for Eden (Great Enix RPG classic on SNES, You have a creature you evolve from animal to human through time)

Alright, I seem to be getting quite a few great suggestions on here that I missed...main one being Legend of Dragoon....I love that game, and my brother-in-law offered to give me his old copy, but the 1st Disc is missing...of course.

In any event.  I'm trying to look back further in the old-school days (Snes, Genesis...and earlier).  Lol, anyone up for an Atari 2600 version of E.T. make for PS3?.....I know, waste of text and resources...but seriously, I would love nothing more than for Namco to come out and make a Splatterhouse for PS3....There are a few petitions for it, and even a fansite...but from not-so-recent reading, it looks like Namco's gonna let Splatterhouse die.....but then again, they said the same thing for Katamari, and look what happened.
