The title says it all, which one is better?

I read this someplace on the net, was posted on another forum, let me know if this is correct:

"i think that the 40GB version is the best because the Processor(Cell Broadband Engine) is updated with the 65nanometer technology compared to the 90nanometer technology
(the lesser the better @ lesser power consumption and lesser heat output = more efficiency and if it is possible to overclock it in the PS3 ,then IBM ,the creater of the processor says that they got the processor upto 6Ghz from 3.2Ghz(stock) after the shrink to 65nanometers)
currently one of the most powerful processors in the world"

Does 60 gig have 90nanometer technology then? But 60 Gig does have chrome finish and extra USB ports and other features.

I can find some old one's in packed form here in Pakistand. Should I got for an old 60 gig one or a new 40 gig one without the fancy chrome and features but a faster processor?

The games still play exactly the same- they may have been able to get the processor to go faster with the smaller size but it's kept the same speed for the PS3. The chrome finish, to me, looks tacky and takes away from the look. The extra USB ports do come in handy, however, and the 60 GB having some PS2 backward compatibility is also a plus. Overall, i would say get the 60 GB..
