Not if you buya lot of games, music and video man, I have a 500 gigger....love it 60GB should be enough for all the games out there. For vids and music, external HDDs are the best. That way I can use it on my 360 and PC, too. 1TB for $125
:-) I have a 320GB hard drive! I have so many demos & vids on there that I don't even use any more just b/c I have so much room left on the hdd... I feel no need to delete. I need to go through there and clean up stuff I don't really care for though. I also have about 10 downloadable games off of PSN. It's awesome not having to worry about space... and it was SUPER easy installing the new hdd too.
i got 500 gb hdd and about 320 gigs left! id recommend the 500gb that way you dont have to worry about uninstalling games for the next 8 yrs. that sony intends the ps3 to last also its only $100 on newegg.com
I got a 180gb in my original 60gb drive. Honestly, I can't see myself needing more than this. I have 30gb of music, Boondocks seasons 1 & 2, Various Animes, etc and I still have 100gb left.

the games take alot of space for me around 2-5 gigs each
