OMG~!!! i think i know why raiden is now a NINJA~!!!

i just watched a trailer of the game where raiden fights with the big tall robot thingy's and in the end he says "its my turn to protect u snake"~~~

and u as u remember on mgs 2 snake sent OLGA 2 protect raiden~AND wait,olga was wearing a ninja suit~!!!!!

so i think~ raiden is wearing the cyborg ninja 2 honor OLGA'S fight to protect him and raiden also feels that its time for him 2 help out snake since snaKE helped him on MGS 2 and~RAIDEN also needs to live or else olga's baby will die~~

Snake didn't send Olga to protect Raiden... It was the Patriot.

I'm sure something happens to Raiden between the MGS2 and MGS4 timeline that will be explained in Metal Gear Solid 4. Kojima stated that the Reason Raiden is so pale in this game is because his blood was replaced with some other liquid that gives him increased stamina, but also provides that pale appearance. My theory (and I could be wrong) is that Raiden was injured in combat, and this new ninja suit is what was needed to keep him alive. Similar to why Robocop became Robocop.Prinze
