ya i almost crapped my pants when i discovered that! now if devs would think about incorporating that into other games...

The issue is that it takes up a certain amount of memory to be able to do that. Games like High Velocity Bowling have the ability to use unused memory for things such as this. With that said, Sony is continually working to decrease the amount of memory things like this need to run properly.

HVB is using the pre 2.0 ingame music system, the 2.0 and above system is more flexible. As Sonys said all along, its already there its just upto devs to use, if I recall correctly there are several others PS3 games floating round with support as well.
