Yes they look good for a console game, but you've obviously never had the pleasure of seeing Crysis at it's highest settings on a powerful gaming rig or else you wouldn't have made such an uninformed statement.

Heavy Rain has good character model faces however the actual backgrounds/environments are bland and don't look mind blowing at all. So all in all Crysis has the full package while HR just has some nice character models. Not to mention I think the Crysis face looks better.

People just won't stop. Everytime a new game comes out, someone has to say that it slays the graphical beast that is Crysis.

Well, I got news for ya...Heavy Rain doesn't do it. Killzone 2 doesn't do it. Uncharted doesn't do it. Nothing does. That's not to say that those games, and others, aren't gorgeous, but they just don't do it.

Another thing most don't take into consideration is that console games rarely feature true 720p, let alone true 1080p and higher (much higher).

You might prefer a game's art style, but technically speaking, there is no argument: Crysis>>>>>>>>>everything else.

Heavy Rain looks incredible, but i can play Crysis on max setting w/ visual mods and there isnt really anything that has come close to it graphically/framerate/colour wise.

Yeah, Heavy Rain looks awesome but I definitely wouldn't pay full price for it.

I'll admit Heavy Rain was some great faces and character models but there isn't much going on in the background. Crysis has openness to it and dynamic lighting engine so crysis does more on a greater scale.

im confused with people comparing a game that hasnt been released yet to a game that most people never see running at full potential at the end of they day they both look good and the genres are completely different maybe we should just appreciate them both as seperate entities.

HR looks far superior than Crysis in my opinion. Doesn't matter to me to be honest, but looking at HR, and Crysis HR has the superior graphical quality.

i dont see what the big deal is. really both games look like $hi( compared to what they could really do if developers took their time. heavy rain is trash and crysis is equally trash.
