OMG MGS 5 and 6 possible hint?!?!?!?! "MAJOR SPOILERS"

Ok in the cut-scene where naiomi is scanning snake to see if he is ok and all that stuff, just before you fight Luaghing Octopus, in one of the scenes it lists all of the MGS games that have been created like in little rectangle boxes with pictures of the games, when it reaches the end and gets to MGS 4 it has 2 more spaces after that, but it says "space reserved" or something like that, like no picture but just that writing!!!!

huh? anyone else notice this, what could this mean?!?!?!?!

yeah dude, a lot of people don't seem intrigued by the idea of a mgs4 prequel taking place between mgs2 and 4. but i think it would be excellent, breaking into Area 51 sounds like a lot more challenging than shadow moses. and snake mentioned he had worked a lot with raiden after big shell. so i think theres lots of potential there. but seriously, i dont see any reason to play as snake again. no story should focus on him again. its over dude. another big boss game would be nice though

Maybe.

I'm all down for a another MGS game but it has to be a spin-off.
1.Becuase Snake 's story is done, it wouldn't be right to pull some plot twist that makes him strong enough for another mission. Sanke's days as the main character are over.
2.But having a spin-off with someone like Johnny or maybe Raiden's son(in the future of course) as the main character. It could have Snake as a Cambell like character giving advice or if it is Raiden's son it could have Raiden or Otacon as a support character.
3. I am actually hoping Kojima hands MGS off to his team to let them handle it. He said that is what he wanted to do and I think it would be the rightr thing to do. To give his master piece to a new generation.
4. I really hope Kojima stops with MGS becuase he said he wanted to work on a new IP. I for one would love to see it.

I think a sequel to Snake Eater would be sweet. They could base it off when Big Boss fought Gene, Null, etc in 1970. That sounds like a kickass story. And they could do a game in between MGS2 and MGS4, but I dont see that happening because that whole storyline has been resolved and it would be kinda pointless to tread over story points that arent needed anymore.hillelslovak

Doubtful, wouldnt you need in the neighboorhood of 6-8 discs for that?

I'm hoping it's something to do with Ocelot. He's always been an interesting character and knowing what we know now (after beating MGS4) I think there's a lot of potential there for a good game/storyline.

Maybe Big Boss?! Something that takes place after Portable Ops? i could always use more Big Boss.

I'm thinking Raiden would be cool as a main character again but his new cyborg ninja style wouldn't lend itself to the same kind of gameplay. He just doesn't need to sneak anymore. He just slices stuff up.

Prequels could be hard becasue it may just muddle up the already epic storyline that the first games set up.

Lastly I hope they don't do anything else with Solid Snake. I feel it would just clutter things up and take away the impact that MGS4 had. Let it be.
