I'm stunned how important this feature is for so many people. Maybe it's because I don't play sports games and similar stuff you'd want your music, but developers spend some cash on making/licensing good game soundtracks, I wouldn't want some out of place music to play while playing something like Oblivion

Its all about Sports games. EA/2K Now have the worst music all that Emo stuff. I mean look at Madden 06's stellar Soundtrack then 07 is all emo/Attempt at calling it rock.

It would take a small amount of CPU to pass audio thru to the game. Seeing as how other platforms are able to do it, it makes me wonder how hard it can be to implement it.
wow, not a big deal...how did you cope all those years before xbox created that feature? i like the music the developers choose anyway, like in motorstorm...they usually chose what is right and what fits.
Turn off the ingame music, turn up your stereo playing your songs: there you go! I also don't quite understand why this feature is so important to many people or at least why so many are whining about it.
